Morinventive Custom Carpentry Co.
Serving the Lower mainland since 1999

A brief history of the business and owner:
I started this business with the vision of providing a quality product, responsible service, and professional integrity.
My interest in carpentry started at a young age. (I remember taking a wood file to my mom's kitchen cabinets). I started honing my trade in high school where I received my first formal training by a hard-nosed teacher in East Vancouver. He captured my imagination, took me under his wing and showed me in a very tangible and effective way how to apply my God given skills in custom furniture design, joinery, and construction.
Under the same stewardship, I enrolled in a unique program for young men that taught and guided us through the entire process of building full sized custom homes, ground up.
Over the years (thirty plus) I have endeavored to learn and apply as many of my skills as possible.
My skills and experiences are many and varied. I have a small studio / shop in East Vancouver that I use to create one of a kind pieces of furniture, cabinets and other wood creations. My primary work is in the renovation / restoration field. Decks, concrete forming and placement, home improvements, water ingress detection and mitigation have become my primary business source.
-Specializing in private residential and strata buildings
-Water ingress and rot removal
I reside in Port Moody with my wife and son and will work in most areas within the Lower Mainland.
-In good standing with WCB
-Licensed
